A love poem, celebrating a 'different', but very special relationship
For Mark...

I spent the nights watching the skies
Waiting for a star to fall
Though none fell, I didnt realise,
That one would come to call
I was to fire, as he was to ice
He quelled my rage, and I melted his heart
Together we sang and rolled the dice
Although sometimes we were worlds apart
They say time will end in ice and fire
The world will overturn and will sever
On that day, my hearts desire;
To embrace my man of ice and be his flame forever
