a lovers cry
a silhouette appears in the dark room

my eyes stretch to lines

I hear my cacophonous breathing

………….

…………..

…………………..

……….

………..

………..

words escape without any core

I hum your forgotten song

I stand up to find my leg locked with a table leg

I pull myself out

to tumble down with our silver photo frame

my sore fingers bleed

blood spills on your face and colors the rim of the frame

fumbled.

frustrated.

desperate

abandoned

I pull out your old worn out jacket

I squeeze blood out of my fingers

and rub it all over the jacket

and escape the crime scene
