Based on a true story-it affected my life greatly. Can you guess what the experience was?
No remains left over but teeth and nails
Do you go on when your atrium fails?

Bones are the things that supposedly break
But I can prove the experts’ mistake
They forgot to mention how the books on the shelf
Engulf us into staring at distortions of ourself
A heart appears pointless to try healing
Like an addict with pipes in place of feeling
Or an alcoholic because it’s just as well
One swallow would send you back to hell

Don’t leave anything except fangs and claws
Talons on hands and incisors on jaws
No remains left over but teeth and nails
Do you go on when your atrium fails?

I woke up at last after dying
Soul escapes body-why were you lying
You let me know I’d have no innocence left
If I cheated on deceit but really you were the theft
Said I brought it on myself-not so true
It was somebody else-can’t have been you
Is that what you tell yourself, sitting in prison?
I want you to have some sort of lust-purging vision

Don’t leave anything except fangs and claws
Talons on hands and incisors on jaws
No remains left over but teeth and nails
Do you go on when your atrium fails?
