Growing up.
I gazed upon the sky today,
watched the clouds sashay.
I sang a song today,
and I named it "Grey".

Life's a game to play,
the world, a light or ray.
Give me a lemon and I'll say,
make it into lemon-ae!

Growing's a tremendous pain,
but within me, a gem remains.
Unpolished, unshining, unassumingly waits,
for a day of fine workmanship.

Like an oyster with a pearl,
pain brings about such a deal.
Endure it and constantly grill,
the speck that makes you sick and ill.

And time will prove someday,
the noble works from a humble piece of clay.
Stay awake and remember to say,
it was the best I gave, up till this very day.
