Uncaged bird.
I guess if I were to be fair
I would blame myself, not love
for waking without you there.
You were my morning dove,
who I was so unworthy of.
I wanted you to stay caged,
still singing quietly, thereof.
"How could you?" I raged.
I pray. I cry. I deny. I swear.
I decry that life is unfair.
