Who could it be but Mopsy!
Mopsy lying in wait....

The Boss

My kitty wakes me up
Pouncing on my head.
"Let me on the porch;
Get up out of bed."

I get the coffee out
And fill the coffee pot,
Turn the grinder on,
Make sure it's getting hot.

Mopsy jumps on the counter,
Puts her head in the sink.
That's my little cat,
She's ready for a drink.

I turn on the faucet,
Make my hands into a holder,
Fill them up with water,
Mopsy likes it colder.

Guess you get the point,
Mopsy is the boss.
She's a sneaky little cat,
One you don't want to cross.

She knows how to get her way,
Whatever that may be,
Or she knocks things off of tables
So obliging I will be.

My day goes on this way
Until it's time for bed,
And when I call Mopsy,
Of course, she wants to be fed.

So I put on my jammies
And wait for her to eat.
Then I get under the covers
And she lays at my feet.

My kitty wakes me up,
Pouncing on my head.
"Let me on the porch;
Get up out of bed."
