The effect of teenage bullying.
My home, my haven, is safe no more.
Life invaded without opening a door.

Taunting doesn’t stop when I leave school.
The bullies have found technology’s a tool.

My computer, my phone, items I’ve come to hate.
The messages come, early and late.

Reminders of my flaws and my lack of friends.
Will this harassment never come to an end?

Their words follow me into my dreams.
Being a teenager is not what it seems.

I hate myself for caring what they say.
My self-respect has been taken away.

“These are the best years of your life,” I’ve been told.
If that’s the case, I’ll choose not to grow old.

Leave me alone, just give me a break for one night.
I’m weak and worthless, your words were right.
