Character List and Summary

Flynn [Fin]: the main character, a prisoner who becomes the first to survive the Prince's game, later on he must choose whether or not to side with his mentors in a fight against the crown or stay loyal to his country

Natalia [myself]: a minor character, the healer/medic

Azalie (the black flame) [Vivian]: the head assassin of the Flame, the Prince's special killing unit. She allows Flynn to live and becomes one of his teachers. She is secretly ill with a deadly disease. She is also one of the traitors in league with the enemy nation.

Rhylin (Rhy) [the Crow]: Captian of the Prince's Army. He is another of the traitors. Possesses a tight bond with Azalie.

Tessa: a servant girl, sort of a secondary character who sympathizes with Flynn.

Meera [Kelli]: an assassin for hire who dwells out in the desert. An individual loyal to neither side. She works for her own benefit and no other.

Monkey: Meera's annoying pet who sneaks around the palace grounds stealing small objects.

Lucifer: the dark contact of the enemy legion. He meets with Azalie in the midst of the night, discussing tactics and plotting against the current throne. He has the ability to control shadows. A dark and mysterious figure.
