Sleeping so peacefully I see you lying there,
The slow even breathing of sleep which holds you gently,
I wonder what your little mind dreams of while you slumber.
I often wonder what dreams an innocent little mind holds.
Do you dream of playing, of running in the park?
Do you dream of big ice creams and large candy canes?
What do you dream of as you sleep so peacefully?
A little smile appears on your face,
And I wonder what has happened in your dreams
Something funny or was it happy?
