Love is pain
Hurting, fading, and dying inside

I thought it was him that I could confide

But as time passed on, he made me see

That love comes once and he's not meant for me.

Pushing and fighting, doing all I can

Hoping and praying to find a better man

He pretended he loved me, though I knew he never cared

So I left him behind just to make it fair

For once in my life I did something right

Now I recognize my days and forget my faded nights

Love is that light that sometimes never show

Like those feelings I once had for him

Hopefully, he'll never know.
