Love Without End
She's tough and coarse and everything I need,
Accepting me for all I really am.
Her heart's more loyal than a faithful steed.
And every moment gives my soul a slam.

There's no perfection in her to be found
But all of her is so perfect for me.
The total attraction is so profound
Her lack of interest leaves me as debris.

I touch her heart; she steals my very breath.
I reach for more; she pushes me away.
Each parting is a puny piece of death
As from this stand I cannot make her sway.

I've no idea how this story will end
But know I'll always love this faithful friend.
