A poem about my favorite football teams 2008 season

The preseason was fruitful
A beast with some speed
Added made our roster full
Got wins we did need

Week one where it all began
Quarterback injured
But the backup had a plan
He the fans adored

Week two we destroyed
The cats in Ohio
Blocked punt made the rest all void
Was no denial

Week three we played a rival
In our old home town
Big man had his arrival
Another goes down

Week four it was a close one
Great RB in town
But when this one was all done
QB on the ground

Week five became a preview
To in the playoffs
Tight End's hand like glue
A win no more scoffs

Week six some time off we got
A perfect team now
Our team was now very hot
The rest we would plow?

Week seven was a huge joke
Nearly a shutout
Huge runs both the RBs broke
Now there was no doubt

Week eight a huge game primetime
Arch rivals to play
Defense huge moment to shine
We made them all pay

Week nine very exciting
We went to overtime
The rook did all the fighting
He looked in his prime

Week ten we went to soldier
De won it again
The De were a barrier
Solid as a chain

Week Eleven a rival
We won in the end
Long passes they would stifal
And now we're at ten

Week Twelve to the big apple
A bad game for all
Would this be the unravel
First time we did fall

Week thirteen and thanksgiving
We blewout the cats
Victories were reliving
Just look at the stats

Week fourteen another win
An RB throwing
Only field goals to chagrin
Far we were going

Week fifteen in the lone star
Went on fourth and short
But the bridge was just too far
Lost on last resort

Week sixteen the soon to be
Champs that year were here
We beat them in all degrees
They were not to fear

Week seventeen was to rest
Whether win or lose
The result was not the best
To playoffs we cruised

The playoff game a rematch
Mistakes and fumbles
Dash was gone left all to smash
The team we crumbled

'Twas one hell of season
Much hope for next year
There is not one good reason
For us not to cheer
