when i realised that the woman i love will never be mine
Across from me in a crowded room,
and I feel my head start spinning.
I see your smile and I hear your laugh.
I know right then that you're winning.

You walk across, that look in your eye,
and I feel my hands start shaking.
That look that says I’ll never be yours.
And I know my heart is breaking.

I couldn't resist, you were too strong,
I could feel my fingers slipping.
My heart was too weak, I couldn't see,
In the end I had to give in.

Your picture is in my head all night,
When this will end just don't know.
But for now you're there, all the time,
and I know I’m losing control.

It's like I can't seem to catch my breath,
and it's hard to know that you’re fine.
I know that I have to face the truth.
That your heart will never be mine
