This was actually just suppose to be a independent line class assignment.
Ground Zero...and Counting

It was a mean scene                              ASSONANCE
Rubble, Trouble
Broken token.

City cement                                          ALLITERATION
Destroyed distinction
Now, nightmare normal.

Attack back                                              CONSONANCE
Dumb plan. Stupid man.
Red blood’s sad floods.

  I was just trying to do a lesson here, it wasn’t my intention nor is it now, to describe that fateful day with this. I didn’t mean  for this to be a poem but this is what came out of me raw. It’s just the image that formed in me... The Firemen and Officers deserve far more talent for homage than I can ever produce. But since it come out I hope we, as a people, never forget, The 342, who knowingly, gave their lives in hopes of saving others… strangers. May a part of them continue to live in us.
