Just about the only happy love poem I've ever written, let me know what you think!
I reach my hands deep down in the sand
and gaze upon the moon
I breathe in all the salty air
as I lay down with you

the shore still echoes with children's laughter
stars interlace with lights on ferris wheel
far off in the distance sits a sleeping ship
on this perfect night with you

we smile at a inside joke
and laugh with perfect freedom
and never was I happier
then on this night with perfect you
