God, a witch doctor, a man with a bottle of bourbon, and a rainy night
Two shovels up ended at midnight
A forlorn hole crying drops of dirt
The preacher man wailing across the way
And the doctor on the hill wishing the noise would just pray

There was three brass horns and a midnight track
I saw three brass horns and a midnight track
there were three brass horns and a midnight track
then four more came and marched around his back

Ol' Richard the bourbon eater layed flat on his back
in the squalor soaked dirt of the old train tracks
he had his bottle in one hand and his eyes to the sky
praying devil don't ya take me I'm a reformed guy

There was three brass horns and a midnight track
I saw three brass horns and a midnight track
there were three brass horns and a midnight track
then four more came and marched around his back

~If anyones reading this, then it is obviously not finished...was taking a shower when the lyrics came to me and I'm still devising ways to write and shower at the same time~
