a confession of fascination
I find you fascinating.
It's a wild curiosity.
I theorize and hypothesize
As I study and observe
Simply to learn
Whatever I can.
A passing glance
Or brush of skin,
However fleeting,
Hovers, lingering in my mind.
Few honeyed words echo and fade
Till dull memories, like whispers,
Are all that remain.
Empathy beyond measure,
As I watch you,
I read you a little better everyday.
I am weighed down by your heavy mood,
Unable to relax till it is through.
Complicated and constant,
Intriguing and impressive,
I'm fascinated by you.
