This poem is inspired by something that happened to me long ago.
My life was normal at one point in time.
Then you came up to me and asked me
"will you go out with me?"
I was thrown into another world.
I said "no" not because I didn't want to,
but because I didn't know you.
After that day I would always remember you
unconsciously.
At first I hated you for what you did, but now I
love that one memory.
The time had passed and I had forgotten.
Then one day I had a dream. It was you and me
back on that day.
I remember clearly how it happened.
I thank-you kind stranger who said that to me.
I have a lovely dream for me to always cherish.
Whenever I think back to that day I am filled with
and emotion that I can't describe.
I feel very happy, excited, embarrassed and fuzzy
inside.
I hope that I will never lose this feeling, and that one day
I can find you and thank-you.
Until that day comes I will never forget you and I will forever
remember you as being the 1st person in this world that I couldn't forget.
