An elegy for Tim, a good friend
Now we're here to say goodbye to Tim.
I hope the good Lord will soon guide him in.

I really didn't want to say goodbye.
All I've gotten done is just drink and cry.

You gave us so many good memories.
That's why it's hard to take now, you see.

Black & Mild cigars and a lot of beers.
We all had in your honor, saying, "cheers."

You were an artist and loved all kinds of music-
Singing with cousins on the acoustic.

I know its hard for us now to accept.
Think of only good times, without regrets.

We'll miss your talents and witty remarks-
Your big laugh; on this new trip you embark.

Go visit with your family and friends.
Sister Liz, catch up on old times again.

So the time has come to say, "farewell friend."
Until we meet next time, we're on the mend.
