Both young and crazy and old and stubborn keep moving forward.
Finally, someone who’s young and crazy,
Brutally driven, sexy, not lazy,
With the old, stubborn folks letting them have it,
Mature and wily, sticking to habit…
Meeting together, with taste and frowns,
Dainty old soldiers, acting like clowns,
Together, forever, never in the spotlight,
Until finally, someday, they did something right…

We’ve met these people, known them for years,
Who finally got lucky after kicks in the rears.
They kept on challenging, making mistakes,
But kept moving forward, because that’s what it takes!
Tried some lesson, but wouldn’t listen to reason,
And succeeded greatly, for many a season…
The greatest respect, these people have earned,
For making an impact, the type we discerned.

Follow the leads of the young and crazy,
The old and the stubborn are boring, not lazy…
You’ll see that their rationale and reasons are straight,
Leading to fortunes, and clearing the slate,
For no one could speak with a passion more loud,
Pleasing young children and making them proud.
These fine men and women have effectively led,
Paid folks for their work, and did what they said…
