Poem about how much pain can be caused by not thinking before you speak.

I just don't want to open up my mouth
I'm scared of what words might come spilling out
Because words are like bombs that have been dropped
Once they start coming out they can't be stopped

More than all else, words get me in trouble
Fist fights can hurt, but word fights hurt double
How much pain they can cause, people don't know
Because wounds caused by words, just never show

Swords can hack away, and cleave off your head
But worse, the words that make you wish you're dead
So think before you call someone a name
People are cruel, two can play that game

You better give thought to how you use yours
Some poor chosen words have helped to start wars
Yes, words can hurt to unthinkable ends
Choose yours wisely, or you might lose your friends
