memory, love,
Once upon a time

all was innocent

all was instinct

the taste was sweet

my thirst unquenchable


You came to me

hungrily wanting more of me

and as if I

were without choice

spread my wings for you

wrapped myself around you


Energy changed form

as I sacredly gave you

what has always been yours


Light frozen in time

is seen

yet it's warmth

is no longer felt
