A poem about the writer's block I went though after my grandfather died.
Pencil and paper
Paper and pen
Give me words
Not haunted sins

Deep in my soul
I know there
Blocked by a mouth
That doesn’t care

Poetry flows
Through my veins
But all the words
Are aches and pains

Goodbye to rhymes
Goodbye to song
Goodbye to life
It won’t be long

Before I take
This feathery pen
And cut out
The words within

And seal my blood
To this song
To give me words
Before too long
