Not recognizing you're falling in love, then recognizing you've fallen in love
I looked beyond the moon _
    but I didn't see you . . . .

I looked beyond the stars _
    but I didn't see you . . . .

I looked beyond the sun _
    but I didn't see you . . . .

I looked beyond the horizon _
    but I didn't see you . . . .


But then I recognized the glow _
    and I saw you . . . .

But then I recognized the shine _
    and I saw you . . . .

But then I recognized the warmth _
    and I saw you . . . .

But then I recognized my heart beat _
    and I saw you . . . .
