This poem is about never ending love.
You take my heart away,
It’s solid in love today.
My heart is glass, I wait, I’ll stay.
Oh, I wait ‘till you come home.
Standing on the shoreline,
Tonight I brace the wind.
It’s cold, wet.
I wait for you’re ship to arrive,
For you to come back home.
The sailors, all but one,
Dismount the boat.
Their heads are low,
The captain
says you’ll never return.
The lighthouse is dark tonight.
You were lost at sea.
My heart of glass has shattered,
Tonight, I pick up the pieces.
I shall not trust their lies,
I Know you’re alive.
Please come home to me,
You said you’d outlive this.
Love is forever,
Death can’t win.
I’ll find you on the open sea!
Tonight I swim to your grave,
Tonight I’ll be with thee.
