Nature can offer more than what is first observed.
The distraught mind seeks the still night
Inhale the humid air filing the breast
As the curious breeze plays with each individual hair
The invisible masseuse triumphs at our soul's knots
If you feel it

Unlike the mind, the night is in harmony
The moon conducts in bright ever awe
Crickets play in time as the force of the eternal tempo
As the grass and leaves bow in a spreading wave
If you listen

The dwelling mind sees night but as darkness
Night is not the shadow of our troubles
Allow those eyes to focus for the moon and stars are all you need
That small glitter only gets brighter the more you open
If you look

Of minds and crickets is little in difference
The ache inside needs but a gentle tickle
When the mind hears traffic the crickets make music
Look past the dark matter which troubles the mind
And your mind's troubles won't matter
