if you think poetry is underground rap then maybe u'll like my suburban battletrax
my knuckles broke three times
three bike flips shattered mines
leg and arms protectin my face
sometimes life hits ya like mace
it's sad to see some dumb boy
beatin himself into another ploy
to trip himself up and break him down
left to drown face down in the gutter

utter underground flows sparked my heart
gave me a fight to win that's for real
the words of my kindred stole my soul
and i can't help but contribute to their seal
holy like god's standing seven
pourin down over all of us in oblivion
all subject there is no exemption
