a son becomes obedient after mother's death
MY PROMISE TO YOU

I never thought I could miss you for a day, however, now I am missing you until eternity

You, who were once awake, are now gone six feet down into a cold place I helped put you

Your NO was my YES; your YES was my NO

I cannot be sorry enough to bring you back but I can promise you one thing: I am marrying someone now, one more precious than a jewel

A woman of wisdom; your words, mother

If all the treasures of this earth were brought to me, I shan’t select any except one; life for you

Nevertheless, life cannot be bought; it is priceless and scarce, scarce as I took from you

You, who were my only hope of survival I despised, despised for I thought I had joy; joy that used to be my pride

Joy that ruined my destiny

However, I can promise you one thing; I am marrying someone now

One more precious than a jewel; a woman of wisdom; your words, mother, I am marrying your words now

I would rather that I be a pair than a single not with any being but with your words

I may be a bachelor to humans but I know that I am well off than a king with a thousand wives
