His struggles have ended
Down here on this earth
A life lived most splendid
His smile crowned his mirth

Lance knew how to dance...

He left steel wheels behind
As he pushed off his heels
Found he's no longer confined
And enjoys what he feels

Lance knew how to dance...

He shared love and laughter
That was just his style
Had no fear of the hereafter
You could see it in his smile

Lance knew how to dance...

Those who knew him most
Know this was his last "cruise"
Raise their glasses and toast
As he puts on his "Devil Shoes"

Lance knows how to dance.
