chaos of my pain.

You break down my defences
And see through to my bleeding heart
I slowly melt into your strong arms
Then you whisper you’ll love me forever.

You’re the reason my chest rises willingly
My wounds are just scars, and my smile is real
But you’re slowly fading away
One by one, till I’m cold and alone.

People always leave, people always leave.
My scars are endlessly renewed
Each love ripped from my chest
Till my heart is just a mess of holes.

They don’t care anymore
But I can’t take anymore
I’m still breathing
But I’m still bleeding.

I’ve tried running to you
You just say you’re sorry
And you won’t come back
So I’m left on my knees, begging

I loved you so much
Now I’m left with no salvation
Lord, I learnt your lesson long ago
No one will be taken for granted

Cause they don’t exist anymore.

Forever is over.
