After I lost my first husband, I had to work on finding closure
He sleeps in a place I can not get to.
I know not whether I will see him again.
Tomorrow is promised to no one.
We know that, yet we do not believe
it willl be snatched away.
Much as an eagle swoops upon it's prey.

I will cherish golden delicous days,
treasure moments shared.
Savor sparkling memories
of ravishing nights.
Much like sparkling champagne
tickling our noses with promises.

We carved lucky charms,
mystical fantasies,
a magic place in time,
to embrace our future with open arms.
Time would never let us down
our mad secret plans,
complete truth for you and me.

Who could steal such love?
Would someone dare,
a jealous spectator?
Perhaps a grim reaper
who knows not
of heart's fine fire?

Blended in a secret recipe
seeds sown for twenty years.
We brought forth two perfect babies.
A thousand years of love,
radiant nights
I will never be able
to share with you.
