These few lines that i've put down reflect my experience at Mumbai Marathon 2008.
The Marathon Song

There are times in our lives we live by a simple code,
We stand up, we stand out, and we hit the road,
No matter how heavy is the load,
We face it, we fight it, and we let our self explode

I see people coming out like they never did,
The young, the old, even that tiny Kid,
They cheer me up, I hear them scream,
They are all trying to get me through this crazy dream,

There are times in our lives we must not stop,
Even though the hurdles, the mountains we may spot,
For what lies beyond is an unforgettable memory,
And these stains on our body would tell a different story,

It makes me feel high, it makes me feel proud,
For once, I am not just another face in the crowd,
I’ll cherish them forever, for such moments are very few,
I feel like I’ve touched life, exploring this avenue
