I hope this makes you smile.
A Simple Wish

Oh how I wish I could write.
I've sat up night after night.
Put paper to pen,
and back down again.
Can someone please help with my plight?

Oh how I wish I could paint.
I want to so much I could faint.
A masterpiece done,
left to dry in the sun.
Rembrandt I certainly ain't!

Oh how I wish I could draw.
Of Leonardo I am in awe.
I pick up a crayon,
and spend all day on,
an un-picturesque little scrawl.
