What the soul offers; what life teaches

I have written this for this contest by River McKenna. This is for the Round 5 Prompt which is "Contentment"

"At Waves, Spindles, Foamy Fibers
Kaleidoscope memoirs sprung on sand;
Hope wanders in nomadic play of light
Earth is enriched in its nude state.

Am I nude? Naked sprung from tempest's belly?
Oh I reckon the newborn within knows
Knows how to undress and be only in belly's warmth.
Why so? Why so - deepening in the foams I swallow breaths in the breathe.

Life knows no one and no one knows her
He is too conservative: He is too free
She is too fixed: She is so continuous
I hate her, I love her, I kill her only to adore her; She is too out of orbit though in.

Waves call me. Waves Shun me. They tell play in water
----- They say play in sand: such confused children.
They are myself though: I know them at times, they seem timid
After sunset they call with flutes and the moon warms me in her firelight..."
