A poem about the Holocaust which carries an important message.
Stuffy coaches transported those few

To die without mercy, a hundred in each fiery furnace.

Being driven from shops, cinemas without blame

Their last view of life, the black Swastika on the firehouses.

A yellow star displayed them to the world,

So they could be separated; the young, the old and the baby in the cradle.

Dehydration and famine and typhoid was frequent news,

The light through the clouds of their darkest hour never came.

And through it all, their only mistake was

To be of a different faith to the majority of the population.

So, say 'Nie Wieder', everyone, today -

Or else, if you don't, we will never see the light of day.
