A cat, who is alone in the world, complains about her life.
What I really want is to be loved.
My owners moved out;
left me to live on the street.
I have met few other cats
but they were mean to me.
They wouldn’t accept a house cat
as one of their own.

They make fun of me
because I won’t kill for food.
I won't kill a defenseless animal
Luckily, I scare the birds
into being my personal slaves.
I have the rats to be my managers,
Its been working well.
I'm living the life.

But the rats don’t pet me
they don’t let me sit on their laps.
The birds don’t feed me like my masters did.
I can still hear the echo
of the female human singing
as she filled my bowls with milk and food.
I miss my family,
but there is nothing I can do now.
They are gone.

I feel really bad threatening
these poor birds with my claws,
but there is nothing else I can do now.
I can’t survive
if I don’t do something for my food.
Birds can find food way
easier than a little kitten can.
I don’t want to eat the birds
I really don’t like raw meat.

I miss being pampered.
I miss having my own bed.
I miss my master,
she was so good to me.
I even miss that dog that was so annoying.
I miss having no worries.
But they are gone,
my people are gone.
Gone! And worry has replaced them.
