Long Distance Love, In Sonnet Form
There are days I think we shall never meet,
And nights I fear that we shall never share,
Yet every day I hear your voice, so sweet,
Assuring me that soon I will be there.

I come to find myself distracted so,
that often I can only speak your name,
in hush'd and whisper'd tones, and feel this grow,
this love that, over you, has laid its claim.

You speak of me as if you need my heart,
As if it is integral to your life.
You have turned loving me into an art,
And often speak of making me your wife.

I will, for all my days, stand by your side,
till all the planets fall and stars collide.
