A long overdue poem on anger management - enjoy!
No matter what might happen to be,
I simply just ignore it.
I see no reason there for me,
Though I may explore it.
The fighting’s good, but what I gain
Withholding all my anger,
Is the control of guilt and pain,
Gracious like a brother.

My eyes are witnessing the truth,
A torturous, aching something.
But once so stubborn in my youth,
This grief is not so nurturing.
I simply think with urgency
Of simple joys in life;
What beckons is my apathy
Amid the horrid strife!

Teachers talk quite openly
Of personal satisfaction,
But can they deal sufficiently
With disturbing over-reaction?
We know that we’re humanely real
And not a hopeless dream…
Our patience during any ordeal
Can lessen the need to scream!
