Sometimes when life has drastic changes feelings that go with it are not always pleasant.
MORNING COMES

Waking up the morning cold
The feeling in me starts to mold.
Why does it hurt from head to toe?
Please go away I wish it so.

I close my eyes and lay so still.
Aching stop I try by will.
Breathing deep to stop the pain.
The feeling in me starts to wane.

Ignored it just might disappear.
Or never stop is what I fear.
How long endure this I implore.
Please leave me I can take no more.

When did it start I think I know.
So many troubles years ago.
Decisions made about my life.
Created my internal strife

Waking up the morning cold.
The feeling in me starts to mold.
When will it leave and let me go?
The chances are I’ll never know.
