Come up to the meadows
The egg hatched. Saffron coloured glass filled with mirky red and blue.
Behind the chemist stood a tall thin woman. "Is it alive?" she whispered.
Fathi turned slightly from his experiment, "Yes." "Ooooh. This will save
us." the thin woman popped open her cell phone. "It worked." she spoke
softly. Dora was aware of the importance of silence in the lab.

"We have crossed the line between mortals and Gods." she continued in a
whisper. Eyes phosphorescent with wild green fire looked out at them.
"I am openning the container." Fathi stated. An eerie hiss rose up from
the pressurized container. The newborn flew up and about the sealed contamition
room. Fathi used his robotic arms to remove the glass egg. Dora sighed a
breath of releaf as the jagged edges were placed in a hazzerdous material
      container.

"Isn't she perfect. No need for oxygen, pure energy. Eternal life." Fathi sat back
taking his hands off the controls for the robotic arms. "What should we call her?"
Dora asked. "Lucy. She is a child of light." Fathi smiled. The world had
suffered many catastrophies, Lucy would survie and remember them. Dora wiped
tears from her cheeks. Fathi turned and smiled, "We must teach her."
"Yes. Are you sure of her comprehension?" Dora eyes widen. Lucy was standing
on Fathi's shoulder. Fathi remained still, "She can pass through solid objects."

"I know what you want me to know." Lucy looked directly at Dora. Dora stepped
back. A heavy fragrance of flowers filled the room. "Be patient." Lucy streached
her slender naked body and shook her blue wings. Fathi felt his colthes grow
loose as he shrunk inside them. In moments he flew up and about the room.
Dora tried to scream, but the metamorphasis overtook her. She flew about with
Fathi, like two fireflies. "Your people are destroying themselves. I will be bring them
to the meadows. Nothing is impossible, all things are pure in essence." Lucy raised
her arms above her head and the lab vanished. There were no cities.
The land was green again and sky a bright blue.

Swarms of elfand people flew about the fields in naked innocence. "You have
forgotten everything and are happy again. I will remember." Lucy spoke and
the swarm followed her. They would follow her onto eternity.
