A poem
Is like the words
To a song
Without it
It's not so strong

A poem
Is like music
For a dance
Without it
You're in a trance

A poem
Is like a conductor
To a band
Without it
Alone you stand

A poem
Is like air
To us all
Without it
Surely we'll fall

Now do you know
What a poem is

A poem is everything
A poem is nothing
A poem is anything

A poem is...
    a poem.
