fictional account

I dare not say what happened when...how can this be so? Didn't I know it wouldn't go away? Couldn't I get another day, to...why does the past carry so much weight..why can't the present be all that's at stake..it never leaves. When time shifts, it will be there-
laughing. Knowing that the treadmill on which I run goes nowhere.
How many have lost because of you. How much has been taken in connection to you.. You are the ultimate ghost. You inspired the concept of that. Going back is the road most travel often. If you were a hotel, there would never be a vacancy.
I loathe the thought of you. I dread the power you command. Your presence is felt wherever there is life. There is no escaping you. Coupled with the propensity for "all things historical" just strikes the ire on which you stand. A memory.
Even man's law crumbles on the point.
Pass deeds. Prior history. Accustomed to. Used to do. There is no stopping what can't (be) stopped. Killing what can't (be) killed.
I dare not say what happened when....because what took place will again.
