Very rough poem about pain from childhood abuse. Very rough not yet edited
Soul Eater
---
He is gone but his touch lingers
He is gone but the pain remains
His filthy fingers leaving tracks of grime in my soul
That no soap can remove
No amount of scrubbing can touch
---
He is gone
Yet he remains
His horrific touch lay
Festering wounds on my spirit
Rotting my soul from within
---
The memory of his touch
A putrid rotting thing
Stuck like glue to my soul
Refusing to be washed away
---
He is gone
Faceless
Nameless
Soul eater of children
---
Years have passed
Still the rotting thing remains
My soul festers uncleansed
---
He’s out there
Stealing more souls
Robbing other children
---
He is out there
Always a soul eater
Feeding on the innocent
Infecting the world
With his disease of the soul
---
Please god
Please someone
Tell me how to cleanse my soul
Free me from this decaying eater of souls
