Object poem about a picture in my room
I guess at one time
You were well respected.
Perhaps only by my dad
Living alone in the 80’s.

Maybe their was a time
You stood proudly
On a wall or
In the Jungle,

But now your laying
Down on my floor—
And in the grass.

But better then a
Basement floor,
But better then a
Diaper for a neighbor
And broken glass for
Conversation

As you are burried.
Gradually, then completely.
Don’t worry tiger,
I have no plans
To throw you out, for now.
