These will be a collection of letters to either "real" people who are gone, or to groups.
To the Soul-less:

There are people in this world, who, for whatever the reason,
learned to take pleasure in their lives by watching or causing pain/hardship
to family, friends, colleagues, or even strangers.
You know who you are, I'm sure.

Bullies in the school yeard, graduating from jealousy and spite
to cruelty and vindictiveness.

Sadly, few others dare to challenge or seek help for the abuse,
even though some forms are criminal in nature.
These soul less individuals garner more power, which, in turn
heightens their pleasure.
Their pleasure, however, can often lead to a widening of the breadth and or nature
of their abuse, and may lead to a growing number of victims.

If we, in our fear, learn only to feel hate for their types of human beings,
it truly adds to their power.
For how can we love, laugh, and truly grow if we allow them
to continue to choke our souls, or even the souls of our neighbors, friends, or colleagues.
Should we continue to give them Power to rob lives?

For you, the men and women who can never feel
the warmth of friendship nor respect from your fellow man,
Surely you know that whatever sense of success you've achieved
throughout your life, often through hurting or sabotaging others,
will not matter in the few, final heartbeats when your lifeline has run out.
It will not matter how many feared or were awed by your power,
it will make no difference how many individuals or corporations you ruled with your 'whip,'
or crushed with your hands.
Your abuse of power, your riches accumulated off of the backs of your fellow man
can never assist you in the end.

None of us are Judges; therefore, as your life seeps away...
perhaps a higher power awaits.
However, in those final seconds, not your threats, nor your abusive manner
will be able to hold your hand.
You will not feel tears fall onto your flesh as those your love cry to see your pain,
to know your final moments are at hand.

You see, for most of the human race,
dying alone or unloved,
is a fate more frightening than anything you ever could inflict or dream of doing to others.
So in those final seconds, there will be a balancing....a shift in power,
Sadly, you will have discovered too late what ultimate power truly can achieve,
and that kindness and love are our epitaphs.
