The Full Moon shines tonight and it sends us an eerie light...
The Full Moon shines tonight
And it sends us an eerie light
I can almost here the howl
Of a Werewolf on the prowl
I can’t stop from shaking
And my legs begin aching
I slowly look and it’s all clear
But where do I go from here?
What is that? What could it be?
Someone’s walking the street!
I hear steps on the cobblestone
This isn’t good. I’m all alone!
I’m sure it’s just a dog
But I can’t see with the fog
A man’s shadow peers through
It takes awhile for him to debut
Who are you? I would scream
Just to make sure it’s no dream
My ears listen with poise
The man never made a noise
I start to get a little bold
By walking down the road
The man then screams in agony
And it sounded very painfully
What’s wrong with you? I asked
He finally spoke at last
“I’m very sick and not well
As you probably could tell”
I looked but wasn’t able to see
But I heard him count to three
“One” he would say very soft
“Two” this time with a cough
“Three” he was completely gone
Just in time for morning dawn
