finding out I really do have the world in my hands
I sometimes get to feeling down
My smile turns into a nasty frown
When will I know and no longer guess
When will my life be without stress?

I don’t have the talent to sing or dance
Even though I’m told, " take a chance."
I would love to see my name on the list
Of the bestselling books, but I usually just miss

I don’t seem to have the all that it takes
Always making too many mistakes
Then people will tell me take a look at your world
You’re one of the best, a beautiful girl

I start to think about what they say
And try to give thanks for each beautiful day
I know my friends are my biggest fans
And I have the whole world right here in my hands
