I haven't written anything in ages. I think I've got writer's block, and this is crap ):
Have you seen the new kid in town?
The new kid on the block, the new kid in your home?
Have you laid your eyes on her yet?

I have.
I know her.
I can divulge her secrets.

Do I want to?
Do I want to tell you?

No, no, about her habits,
or what she wishes her habits were.
Nothing like nail-biting or hair-twirling or
anything trivial like that.

You want to know trivial things?
Favourite colours, preferred genre of music,
sense of style, type of humour...

Reckless, restless, rebellious,
reformed.

Do you want to know about her adventures?
No, no, not the kind that involves a safari hat and binoculars.
What are you, dumb or shallow?

(Or both, she would say.
See, I know her.
I can divulge her secrets.)

But I won't tell you.
I'll befriend you.

Then you can tell everyone.
