in worship of a self-conscious friend's bolder qualities
         Climber of Mountains

Call me caring, call me friend
But never that we should be alone
Unless it's on the phone.
When you seem to need attention
I am attentive to your needs

Fancy my presence, fancy my agony
You heave and seem to beckon, call
My call buttons - you push them all.
When my rogue stares revel, fascinated
You pretend it's scamp perversion

So, call me however you will
From arm's length or sweaty dream.
Equally I bow in reverence to
Your majesty, your majesty
