"Porcelain Doll" refers to untouched innocence being defiled through love found, and lost.
I saw her.
She was walking
Like she owned the world.
She owned the world.

The glassy ocean in her eyes
Overlooked her world.
She smiled like Beauty.
Sang like the Siren's daughter.

There were others.
They were cynical;
Jealous of her grace,
Hurt by her love.

And then there was him.
The scent of beguilement.
His shadows were too dark.
He made her sing to him.

She sang to him.
Like the Siren's daughter.
And she smiled Beauty's smile.
Her magic was bright.

And there he always was.
Touching her and taking her.
I could no longer see
the ocean.

Soon, he disappeared.
And she locked herself away.
She grew dark and dingy.
There was no more glow.

There was no more of Siren's song.
She didn't own the world.
She never had her own world.
She was dying.

And I found her,
Just the other day.
In the corner of an old nursery:
Filthy and cursing.

She was curled up,
Her magic stolen away.
Her eyes were blank,
Her beauty was defiled.

A hole in her cheek,
Dirt on her clothes.
Ugly and broken,
My baby Porcelain doll.
